What Accepted does, in detail.

Each capability below covers a specific moment in the deal flow — from the first listing, through every offer and counter, to the moment both sides see the signed acceptance land.

list

List a Deal

Whether you're moving a couch, freeing up your weekends with handyman gigs, or selling a truck, you can publish a listing in under a minute. Photos, asking price, location, and any conditions you want offers to honor are all up front.

  • Photos, price, location, and conditions on every listing
  • Listings are searchable across categories and ZIPs
offer

Make an Offer

Browse listings and send a clean offer with your price, your timing, and a short note. The seller sees a tidy queue of every offer instead of a chaotic Instagram inbox; you both stay in one thread until the deal is locked.

  • Counter and revise without losing the thread
  • Offers expire on a clock — no endless ghosting
accepted

Verified Acceptance

When a seller taps accept, Accepted fires a signed SMS to both sides simultaneously. The buyer sees the green light and the pickup details; the seller sees the buyer's contact info and a confirmation that the deal is locked.

  • Signed SMS from a verified sender on both sides
  • Includes price, item, and pickup or service window
pending

Pending Offers

When you have multiple buyers bidding on the same item, you don't want a stack of DMs. Accepted shows you a clean inbox of every pending offer with the price, the buyer, and an expiry — and a heads-up SMS when a new one comes in.

  • One inbox per listing — every active offer at a glance
  • Heads-up SMS so you don't miss a hot offer
confirm

Two-Sided Confirm

After an offer is accepted, neither side can quietly bail. Reschedules, price changes, and cancellations require the other side to confirm before they're official, and every step is logged inside the deal thread.

  • Both sides must agree to changes after acceptance
  • Every cancel or reschedule timestamped in the thread
history

Deal History

Whether it's a $40 lamp or a $4,000 contracting job, both buyer and seller get a full timestamped log: every offer, every counter, when it was accepted, what changed. Useful when memories disagree.

  • Timestamped log of every offer and decision
  • Exportable history for both sides
